FSD v14.3.9 first impressions from an HW3 Lite commute
A week of supervised miles. Less magic, more manners. The Lite path is still the Lite path.

I am still on the HW3 Lite path. That sentence does more work than any version number. v14.2 Lite on 2026.27.6 is not v14.3.9, and pretending they are the same stack is how owner forums waste a week.
What I felt first: parking is less hesitant. The car commits to a pin instead of hovering in the aisle performing a three-point monologue. Second: emergency vehicles. Sirens that used to produce a freeze now produce a lane shift plus a speed drop. Third: driver monitoring. Eyewear and low-sun lighting used to be a coin flip. They are not, this week.
What I did not feel: a new driving personality. Follow distance, lane choice, and unprotected lefts are the v14 family with the volume knob at the same setting. If you were waiting for Unsupervised on HW3, this is not that update.
Collision Evasion is not in my notes because it is not on my hardware. When it lands on Lite I will say so. Until then, treat HW4 clips as HW4 clips.
